Justin Barbour presented on the topic titled, “Workplace Wars: The EEOC Awakens” at the Schmoyer Reinhard Breakfast Briefing held Wednesday, March 30, 2016.
This Breakfast Briefing focused on how the EEOC has promulgated new rules, applied preexisting laws in new and novel ways, and pursued the expansion of its own reach and employers’ responsibilities under federal law. This presentation explored the new rules, regulations, and initiatives undertaken by the EEOC, including those pertaining to equal pay, pregnancy and gender discrimination, disability discrimination and reasonable accommodation, and more.
