FAMILIES FIRST CORONAVIRUS RESPONSE ACT – OVERVIEW

On March 18, the United States Senate passed the Families First Coronavirus Response Act, which President Trump thereafter signed. This Act contains numerous employment-law related provisions in addition to provisions pertaining to unemployment benefits, coronavirus testing, and food assistance to eligible individuals. This Act takes effect on April 2, 2020.
